What does a 400 square foot native meadow include?

Imagine we have selected a 20’x20’ portion of your yard to transform and it’s construction day:

• Weed fabric would be spread across the 400 sf area.

• 12 cubic yards of high quality soil would be imported into the area which would create a 8” depth for planting.

• 14 native plants generously spaced would be planted directly in the soil.

• The remaining portin would receive locally sourced native wildflower seeds.

• 4 cubic yards of mulch would be gently applied to help retain moisture.

• The native meadow would now receive it’s first watering!
